Workshop – 13.00 – 16.00 Thursday 12 November.
As Christmas time approaches, come and join us for a Christmas craft afternoon on our beginner sewing machine workshop and learn how to make a beautiful Christmas stocking using your sewing machine.
You will need to have a basic understanding of how to operate your sewing machine i.e. how to thread your bobbin and some basic straight stitches but this is a good beginner project that can be adapted for different sizes.
All materials will be provided but please be aware you will need to bring your own sewing machine (and ideally the instruction manual that came with it).
All refreshments and materials provided included fabric, wadding, thread, seam ripper and full instructions.
There will also be scissors, cutters, cutting mats and iron available to borrow throughout the workshop.
Please be aware the workshop will take place on the 2nd floor which is only accessible via stairs but please arrive 15 mins before the start of the workshop and we can assist in bringing the machine upstairs and ensuring it is set up for you.
