Description

Workshop – 13.00 – 16.00 Thursday 1 October.
During this course we will help with demystifying seams and teach you a variety of different seam techniques from French seams to plain seams.
You will get to understand what seam to use for which occasion and learn about seam allowances, overcasting stitches, tying of threads and much more.
You must have basic understanding of your machine and how it operates and have done simple beginner projects.
All materials will be provided but please be aware you will need to bring your own sewing machine (and ideally the instruction manual that came with it).
All refreshments and materials provided included fabric, wadding, thread, seam ripper and full instructions.
There will also be scissors, cutters, cutting mats and iron available to borrow throughout the workshop.
Please be aware the workshop will take place on the 2nd floor which is only accessible via stairs but please arrive 15 mins before the start of the workshop and we can assist in bringing the machine upstairs and ensuring it is set up for you.
