Workshop – 13.00 – 16.00 Thursday 11 June.
Do you have a sewing machine but need the confidence to start using it?
Come along to our beginner sewing class and learn the basics where we will demystify sewing terms and get you used to your machine.
During the class you will learn how to make a double sided placemat and matching coaster with some of the beautiful cotton fabrics we have in store.
All materials will be provided but please be aware you will need to bring your own sewing machine (ideally if you could be aware of how to thread the bobbin but if you are really struggling, we can assist).
Materials provided included fabric, wadding, thread, seam ripper and full instructions.
There will also be scissors, cutters, cutting mats and iron available to borrow throughout the workshop.
Please be aware the workshop will take place on the 1st floor but please arrive 15 mins before the start of the workshop and we can assist in bringing the machine upstairs and ensuring it is set up.
