Or Unfinished Projects

You know what I’m talking about from the title don’t you? Those pesky WIPs (Works In Progress) you have lying around because you can’t help but jump from one project to the next.

Or maybe you’re one of those people I get really jealous of that can just do one project at a time.

Whichever one you may be, it’s absolutely fine but I’m here to talk to you today about the first.

I’m currently working on 3 main currently unfinished projects (this doesn’t include a couple of CALs… or Crochet A-Longs that I still haven’t finished).

These are the culprits right here. 3 lovely memory blankets for my niece and nephews, a vest top and a pair of socks.

Quilting projects - Memory blankets, made using children's baby clothes, first school clothes etc
Knitting a vest top
Knitting a pair of socks

Taking on the shop has swallowed my creative time recently however, now I’m getting settled, this is slowly coming back to me and I’m making the time to get these things done.

My problem is that I see something new, like a new wool or a new design or I have an idea that I need to start on and everything else falls by the wayside.

I also enjoy so many different crafts that sometimes I’m not in the mood to knit, I want to crochet or I’m not in the mood to crochet, I want to embroider… you see where I’m going!

I’m determined to get better though and actually start finishing these as I have so many more ideas that I want to start sharing with everyone.

Keep me accountable please and if you’re ever in the shop, please ask me how my projects are going and I promise to be honest!

Also, please do share your projects with me. Tag me in your Instagram or Facebook posts/stories as I’d love to see what you’re working on especially if I’ve helped you find something new and fun to work on.
