Does the prospect of how to insert a zip terrify you?
You aren’t alone, so come along to our workshop and we will explain the basics of zip insertion.
During this course you will be making a lined make-up bag with a zip closure and covering several sewing techniques too.
You must have basic understanding of your machine and how it operates and have done simple beginner projects.
Come along to our beginner sewing workshop and learn the basics of how to insert a zip and get you used to your machine.
All materials will be provided but please be aware you will need to bring your own sewing machine (and ideally the instruction manual that came with it).
All refreshments and materials provided included fabric, wadding, thread, seam ripper and full instructions.
There will also be scissors, cutters, cutting mats and iron available to borrow throughout the workshop.
Please be aware the workshop will take place on the 2nd floor which is only accessible via stairs but please arrive 15 mins before the start of the workshop and we can assist in bringing the machine upstairs and ensuring it is set up for you.
